Frequently Asked Questions

The concern with installing a heated towel rack outdoors is the exposure to the elements, notably
rain, snow, condensation, or ice. If there is a possibility that water can get behind the faceplate
and into the electrical wiring it can cause the unit to short circuit. If the unit is properly installed
in a covered location, it could be protected and not face any problems, but installing a towel
warmer outside does include some risk. The warranty will be void if the unit is installed outside.

Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaners to clean the radiators as this will cause damage to
the surface finish. Please use warm water and a damp cloth. – Do not clean when hot.

We offer a 10-year warranty on the body of the warmer and 5-year warranty for the element.

Please refer to your local electrical codes to ensure you are complying with all local regulations.

Towel warmers are an amazing product and have a variety of uses and applications. They are
primarily used to heat towels and bathrobes, so they are warm when drying off after a shower or
leaving the pool/beach/spa. Towel warmers also dry out wet or damp towels. This helps prevent
bacteria forming and giving off that musty/moldy smell towels produce when not dried properly.
Laundry loads and water consumption can be reduced as well, as the towels will not need to be
washed as frequently. They help bathrooms stay warm, dry, and humidity free, while cutting
down on mold and mildew. Our products can also be used as a radiator to help heat the space in
which they are installed.

Our towels warmers have a liquid (Glycol & Water mixture) and heating element inside the unit.
The heating element heats up the liquid, which cycles through the unit providing consistent
radiant heat.

Our towel warmers take between 20–45 minutes to heat to its optimum temperature, depending
on the size of the unit. Our MINI Towel Warmer series will take 15-30 minutes to heat up.

Yes, you can switch the location of the element on the bottom of most VERNON Towel Warmers.
